25th September 2023, second day of our holiday, we hopped on a bus, and ten minutes later the driver dropped us outside the gates of the C17th Felbrigg Hall. Our interest was the estate, which we’d wander around… and then walk back to Cromer, our holiday base.
One half of the gatehouse, we take our time to explore the details…
Then head down the verrry long lane…
When we see a gate we believe we’re there. Hah!
We’re not surprised to see a very old tree…
The church…
The hall, complete with grazing sheep and cows…
Part of the estate is a “great woods”. We’re not that impressed. Paved roads run through it, every which way…
But we find a less structured path around the perimeter…
The paths and tracks bring us back to where we started. Time to take the lane back into Cromer.
For those who want to know more about Felbrigg Hall…
Hope you enjoyed

Very interesting shots of the bare trees. Love these pictures

One of these days I’m going to actually pay to go in and look around. But I confess, I do prefer the fields and woods 🙂
