Adrift with a float
There was a boat
The boat was red
To me it sped
Held in my sight
Despite the light
The boat passed by
Left me to die.
But I’m alive
Was it a joke?
Or maybe a dream
That’s how it seems
I hope I woke.
Adrift with a float
There was a boat
The boat was red
To me it sped
Held in my sight
Despite the light
The boat passed by
Left me to die.
But I’m alive
Was it a joke?
Or maybe a dream
That’s how it seems
I hope I woke.

Thank you, Sadje. I rearranged the order of those lines several times. Still not sure I got the best order. 🙂
