3rd June 2023, we catch a bus, and another, to take us to the small town of Long Stratton, from where we walk the lanes to the ancient woodland of Tyrrell’s Wood. Do come with us. It’s a wonderfully sunny day!
Long Stratton Church
The Old Mill…and the new
Arable fields…and the common
Wind-power
Into the woods
And out again to return to town for the bus home
Hope you enjoyed this little walk as much as we did!

Nice sunny weather for your walk.

Love it when it’s sunny. But not when it’s HOT! 🙂

Not always in England. I’ve known some very cold but sunny summer days…icy winds blowing in from the sea, usually!

It was one of the best walks this year. Not too hot, not too cold, and no rain!

I get anxious. So many of our walks are in woodland, and I fear my kindly readers must get bored with them. But next week we go to the coast (yea, I know, I love on the coast, but this is different)

I wouldn’t worry about your readers. Your enjoyment of all of your walks shines through! Oooh, the coast!
