I was the light when all was dark
I was the air that fed the spark
I danced a dozen reeling dances
And drew a dozen stolen glances
From a dozen star-made beasts
At a dozen solar feasts
I am the spinner, the weaver too
The ladle that dips into the cauldron true
I am above and yet below
From me all Life does flow
I am not woman neither man
But name me if you can
I am the Spinnerβs Game
On this Solstice Day, I give my thanks to you who’ve bought my books
Wonderful, Crispina!

Thank you, Dale. I wrote the poem, then wondered what to do with it
