20th September 2022, we bus to Norwich, then a second bus. To come home we’ll need a third bus, for we’re walking between the bus routes. The walk is along country lanes
Along the lanes gates fail to enclose fields of rusty docks and grasses
Some gates fail to enclose private woods
The lane is lined with trees that hold mistletoe high into the sky
The lane takes us through a village. More gates, these into gardens, these more secure
A footpath takes us out of the village…
and delivers us onto another lane
Where there’s an ivy-bound gate. Not sure this one would open
The gate to this field was secure
Here’s a hefty, hearty tree…
And another gate… though our route takes us to right of this
The last gate…
And that’s all for today… please join me again next Sunday when we find water birds on a misty morn
Love these lush green scenes.

Beginning to exchange green for brown, the grasses drying. But those summer greens will probably hold on till Christmas

Thank you, Granny. I felt they hadn’t the sparkle of some weeks. But English weather is English weather!
