Monday 22nd August, the weather turns cool enough for me to risk a short walk…2 or 3 miles upriver. The riverside hedges are fantastically full of fruit
The view across the river with the wide skies for which this part of Norfolk is renowned
Butterflies flit in great numbers. And occasionally oblige me with a photo op!
Autumnal sights…
In a damp depression of the land there is a pond where, if you’re very quiet…
Oops! I’ve been sighted…
That’s all for now. I’ll see what I can find for you next week
A beautiful walk. You take beautiful pics Crispina. Thanks for sharing

Thank you, Sadje. I was just discussing the next walk with my daughter. I said I can’t leave it too long, I need more photos for my blog-walks. (Weather has been much against us!) 😊

I know, I know, I’m so lucky. I am. I moved here to attend art college and remained to take photos 😊😊😊

The temps are cooling. Except next week they’re up again. But at least next week we get rain. Supposedly. 😊😊😊

Gorgeous nature shots! Rosehip, lichens, elderberry fruits, you can make a pie with the latter! Rosehip is a natural source of vitamin C. I’ll be picking mine soon.

I mentioned rose-hip syrup to an American friend and drew a blank. In US blackcurrant juice is the thing
