I don’t have a positive id on these. But they seem too big to be sloes, and too small to be domestic plums. So I’m thinking they’re bullace, which is a wild damson.
Whatever the actual prunus species, it’s a fruit, and another title from the list Maria Antonia has given us for #2022picoftheweek
They definitely look part of the plum family 🙂

They could be huckleberries or sasal, both are edible.
