Cyril is the most annoying creature in the whole wide world.
Bad enough that he sneaks into my garden.
Bad enough that he digs up my lawn.
Bad enough that he’s making that lawn into a pitch and putt course.
AND has created a peanut plantation.
If I had a gun… I do swear!
A most provocative creature – he’s provoking my anger.

Oh, how I hate them for nicking all my seed but I do so admire their acrobatic feats

He’s kind’a cute, though. For a pest. 😉

That is a problem. Close relative to a rat. If it looked like a rat those people who feed it would scream!

Too bad of him too annoy you so.

I think I’ve found a solution. Crushed chillies around the plants and Cat&Dog deterrent around the entry points to the garden

They are annoying little pests, good luck, maybe a sling shot?

Rat poison. No, while it is against our UK laws to release a grey squirrel into the wilds, it’s also against the law to kill one. Hoo-hum

But he’s so cute, but don’t get me started about drop bears 😳

Terry Pratchett?

Nope, koalas. I’m Australian 😁

Lol. Terry Pratchett mentions them in his book about Australia.

When I saw the title I thought you were talking about our president.
He is equally annoying.

I just wish they’d leave my bird food alone, just a shame they look so cute!

Yea. As I’ve said elsewhere, if they looked more like rats we might shun them

I struggle to tell one from the other. Nicely done.

They may look cute, but boy are they destructive. My sympathies.

Thank you. Very destructive, and very persistent, a challenge to our creativity (how to eradicate them)

Rats with pretty tails is what I call them! Luckily, they are not overly numerous in my own yard…
Wonderful (though frustrating, I’ve zero doubt) take on the prompt.

I have discovered crushed chillies keeps them off the prized plants, and a scatter of Cat & Dog Repellent keeps them out of the garden… but needs renewing every fortnight or so

Until they take a liking to spicy foods!!
