Ought I to blush?
Am I a lush
To spend the night
In Dionysus’ arms
inebriated by his charms?
A Bacchanalian revelry,
My Lord, I cry, It’s most unlike me!

A lovely, intriguing poem

Oh hell no! You are no lush! There is nothing wrong with enjoying Dionysus’ charms – much safer than drinking and driving (I know, you don’t drive but stay with me 😉 )
Nothing wrong with letting loose and enjoying life’s pleasures 🙂

Sounds like an absolutely lovely evening to me! A toast, then, to revelry!
I don’t mind being lush (ah, what a difference the missing “a” makes) but I prefer these definitions:
* Growing luxuriantly
* Very rich and providing great sensory pleasure
* Sexually attractive
Enjoy!

Ooh la la, now that’s the way to lush properly!

I don’t often drink. And on this occasion (of the poem) I am playing with names

As long as you’re enjoying whatever you’re playing with, go for it!

Indeed, much unlike you. I at least have the excuse that E&J is a brand of brandy.

I have since had my tooth fixed. Don’t need alcohol to numb it. But I still like to play with Bacchus
