On Monday, having lived in this old building for 16 years, I now must leave. A moving experience indeed for if anything could go wrong with a move, it did. I got the distinct impression the move was cursed.

Thanks. 7 bookshelves, but only 2 tall ones. And I’m mostly set up now only the garden shed remains a chaotic shamble!

I have a buddleia by the back fence… I want forget-me-nots, purple-blue lupins & delphiniums around it. Apart from that I’ve no firm plans for the back. Front, under the fig tree, bergenia (cuttings off my daughter’s) and backed by wallflowers. The other side of the path to be saxifrages, semperviviums & stonecrops with some ornamental grasses

Oh, definitely. You go from one problem to the other, and it becomes way too easy to feel that you can’t get out of them all, that another will come at you whatever you do! 😦
