We were on holiday, me and me boyfriend, so I had to bring something back. I mean, Mum hadn’t liked us going, said it weren’t proper, but Dad told her to give over and to get with the times. It were Friday before I thought and that at me boyfriend’s nudging. So we wandered down Regent Road where I bought her some kitsch. The shops were full of it.

Great photo to go with your story, Crispina. I love how you’ve captured the wavy path and that early morning sky 🙂
