Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN
I thought, this close to Christmas deserved a photo UN-Christmasy 🙂
Well hell… what am I to do with this one? 😉

“I swear, Adelaide, those wind turbines are spreading far too rapidly. I mean, I appreciate the perches and all, but what’s to keep them from clogging up the sea altogether? And fly too close to those blades, and boom!”
“Now, Perry, any INTELLIGENT cormorant knows better than to get too close to those things. And, you know, just like us, they reproduce sexually, and have you ever seem two of them together? I’m not worried about them reproducing too quickly!”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about, Adelaide. The apes help them reproduce, something truly perverse, and you KNOW the apes never know when to stop! Look how many habitats they’ve ruined!”

Sorry, Brian, I keep losing this one. I’ve replied once, I know that I have. I chuckled, Which warmed my feet wonderfully. Keep it coming… cos I do suffer cold feet at this season. 🙂

It’s a new year. all your previous sins of omission have been forgiven.

Hi Crispina,
Took me a bit to get to this, this with the holiday weekend and other things. But I am glad I stopped by and saw the photo, because this little story stirred, waiting to be shared.
