LL: Hi Crispina, thanks for dropping by.
You’ve described The Spinner’s Game as a story told across five books, as opposed to a five-book series. But what did you take as inspiration?
CC: The inspiration hides in an earlier book.

That’s true. Lack of aggressive exposure often lets talent go unnoticed. But don’t let that keep you from creating new worlds. Even if it starts with a handful of your most dedicated readers, remember you’re bringing joy to them and above all else, that it gives you joy too. I think that’s a plenty good reason to not give up. Ever. 🙂

I thank you for your kind words. 🙂 And believe me, nothing’s going to hold me back. I shall keep putting it out. When it comes down to it, word of mouth is the best form of marketing. Besides which, I’m not doing it for the dosh, I’m doing it cos I’ve stories to tell and something to say 🙂

It’s an old injury… sacriliac crest misalignment. I moved wrong and out it went again. But lockdown means I can’t do my usual long walks, so plenty of time to heal.
