I saw him paddling a surfboard along the Thames.
Why? I asked.
Surf’s up, man, he said.
Yea, down in the Cornish bays.
I saw him atop Clifton Bridge attached to a rope.
Why? I asked.
Bungee jumping, he said. Fella sold me twice as much rope as I need.
It lay by his feet in a huge loop.
That man, I tell you, is such an ineffable crazy fool.
70 words, written for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt
I think the guy in the photo wouldn’t mind me calling him a crazy fool, as that’s what Vitabello has called him.
Sure sounds like one!😂

No, I believe he was intending to use it… double the rope, double the rope, double the fun. double the danger… I’ve actually met a chap as nuts as this.

Photos tell a lot of stories. But you’re good at that evidenced by your photos 🙂

I see stories, that’s the crux of it

Ha ha! So, you’ve met my son… 😉
Okay, maybe he’s not quite that nuts but he is a thrill-seaker…
Fun one.

I have met several like it, though not your son. I’ve even dated a few.

Double the rope? Hope the gorge is triple the height!

No, that was the point: so crazy, the fool thought he’d a bargain when in fact he had his death.

Wow – not the bargain he was hoping for! Great write, Crispina. And the photo matches the story perfectly 🙂

That photo aced it. It wouldn’t have worked so well without. 🙂

You really have an imaginative mind. Pictures don’t talk to me. I can’t write thought tried sometimes for Friday Fictioneers but didn’t last long.

I see the picture in my head before I write. If it’s a story, then I see like a movie in my head. I am the scriptwriter, the director, and the actors. Hey, how’s that for getting in the picture. But It’s how I write. If I can’t see it, I can’t write it.
