Man, he’s crazy

I saw him paddling a surfboard along the Thames.

Why? I asked.

Surf’s up, man, he said.

Yea, down in the Cornish bays.

I saw him atop Clifton Bridge attached to a rope.

Why? I asked.

Bungee jumping, he said. Fella sold me twice as much rope as I need.

It lay by his feet in a huge loop.

That man, I tell you, is such an ineffable crazy fool.

70 words, written for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt

I think the guy in the photo wouldn’t mind me calling him a crazy fool, as that’s what Vitabello has called him.

You really have an imaginative mind. Pictures don’t talk to me. I can’t write thought tried sometimes for Friday Fictioneers but didn’t last long.

    • I see the picture in my head before I write. If it’s a story, then I see like a movie in my head. I am the scriptwriter, the director, and the actors. Hey, how’s that for getting in the picture. But It’s how I write. If I can’t see it, I can’t write it.
