You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:

- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
If you tag it #CCC others should be able to find it by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)

Of course we can see that Crispina has been a little disingenuous with the truth. Her caption for CCC 24 is followed by the statement “open to all” which CCC 24 is patently not. Sorry Ms Kemp, but locked, iron shod, oaken doors are not, by definition, “open to all.” 😉

Thank you, Padre. And forgive me if I must conta-say you, for this iron-shod oaken door is that of a church. Supposedly open to all. 🙂

It is the door to the church at Chedgrave. Although the door dates only to early 1800s, it’s set in a doorway that’s a feast for the eyes. I’m posted a photo of it last July, but I’m about to add a link to that post, to my post which will be out tomorrow

Sorry about that. Error located and amended. I had confused Chedgrave All Saints with Asby St Mary, which is the one I featured last year. Ashby St Mary lies within a tidy walking distance, and truly is a feast for the eyes. Link in tomorrow’s post. While Chedgrave’s arch has seen better days.

I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent references to Huxley and Morrison (both of whom gave served as inspiration to me at different times) 🙂

Me too. Which is what drew the camera to take the photo. So many church doors are … plain. Though many (many, many) are far older than this one.
