These days, eh?
I’ll be lugging my homemade eggnog (with whisky and brandy already incorporated) to my sister’s. They won’t let me in if I arrive empty-handed…
Time was I was a party animal. These days I’m much of a loner. And it’s not the same, to drink alone. But tomorrow my daughter joins me. Then … let the booze flow.
I feel ya, Crispina. Drinking alone is just not the same… having a glass with supper but to sit and chat with someone whilst partaking is so much better.
Enjoy your time with your daughter! Chin! Chin!
My first ever haiku. I had to look it up to see what the form was supposed to be. Not Shakespearean iambic pentameters, then. Shucks. So I thought I’d give it a try. Seems my muse was lurking near that day! 🙂

Now I have this image of greetings with huge webbed feet flipping their way across the ocean. And that’s before I have a drink!

I have a bottle lined up for this evening. I’m not much of a drinker. These days.
