They’re also called Pheasant’s Wing, because of the colour of the ‘feathering’ marks.

You can see why these quite small ‘plants’ hold me tight in fascination. I’m out tomorrow in the hope of finding yet another new species. Lots of rain recently, and the weather remains autumnal warm. Good hunting conditions.
