Tuesday Treats: Up and Down The Streets

An odd collection of details and places that caught my eye in Summer 2020. Enjoy…

🔼⏫ I do wonder if this ought to be called street art, since I found it not in the street but in an underpass that sneaks beneath the busy bypass road to allow we nature fiends to reach our destination without getting squashed! 🔽⏬

🔽 From detail of town wall to detail of town hall…or rather its annexe, though it’s now converted into apartments.

🔼 In Sunday’s post I said about Gt Yarmouth’s rows. This one runs from the market place towards the quay. The signage is for Back To Backs, a wonderful pub that’s tucked into there 🔽 No words needed here

🔼 I think this one is Capt Christmas’s Row. Christmas used to be a common name around here 🔽 Many rows are named for the pub on the corner. Lots of corners, lots of pubs!

That’s all for now. I hope to be back into the rural lanes in time for next week’s posts!

  2. Love the detail on the old town hall. How nice to have an apartment in a lovely building like that.
