King Henry’s Tower, built 1284 as part of Great Yarmouth’s town wall, the second most complete town wall in England. Clearly, this is H for History, my June choice for Maria’s Photo Challenge.

Plants don’t care. I do like that the plants are colonising the wall. Though doubtless some clean-minded jobsworth will come along and clean them off, sooner or later

Thank you. Although I pass the wall every time I go shopping or go to catch a bus, I don’t often pass that tower. And it looked so pretty, all flowered up. So I took a photo. Then decided to use it for this

Ah! Well, over the years I have posted quite a few shots of the town. But it’s just a rundown failing summer resort, built upon fishing but with no fish left and everyone now holidays abroad.
