Lovely! And I am already for you this week as I did my picking ahead of time. Just only got last week’s up today, but this one was something that spoke to me as soon as I saw the photo.

Winter had beaten me down, dead. Cold, lifeless, the world mirrored my thoughts. Hope was dead. Life was dead. Nature was dead. The world was dead.
But then came a day in spring when I went forth out of my house. And life greeted me at every turn. Not just life, a profusion of life, life in its many forms, life growing, struggling, thriving. The world was in cooler. I was in black and white.
As I walked, the color seeped in. My flesh turned from light gray to a peachy flesh tone, my eyes turned from sightless orbs to green periscopes on the world. Was I alive? Had I been dead? It was not possible.
I did not rejoin the world. I remembered the world.
