Ivy and Sunflower agreed to have a race. Who could reach the sky first.
Ivy was slow at the off, while Sunflower shot up, way ahead.
But then came the storm – which laid Sunflower flat.
Meanwhile, Ivy lazily climbed.
And climbed.
And climbed.
Yay! Just like the tortoise, Ivy won the race.

Well done ivory and well done Crispina.

Thank you. You know, sometimes when I choose the challenge photo, I realise it really is a challenge. Much scratching of head before I came up with this! 🙂

I really appreciate your constancy in coming up with a foto every week, this is not easy I know but gives something like reliability in a volatile time.

Thank you. And the discipline is very good for me!

My pleasure, yes constancy and discipline can help a lot.

These are qualities I’ve had to learn in my life

Hardly anything is given to us, except for to those who are “gifted”. So life is a constant effort, to keep up to the expectations …

I think perhaps my acquisitiveness was a gift!

I think you got more gifts than that.

Thank you 🙂
It’s the one that comes to mind, that was evident in my childhood, when patience, discipline and constancy definitely weren’t

Yea, they cold have been! It wasn’t an easy photo, the light in the wrong direction

Yes and it’s not and easy photo to write about.

Yea, I think sometimes I make the challenge too tough! 🙂

If I can’t think of something, I leave it. But usually I do get an idea.

I admit I’ve come close to not doing it. Which is a bit ironic since I’m the one who sets it!

But you always have a nice take on it. When I choose a photo off the net, I already am planning what I’ll write for it.

I never plan ahead. I take photos that interest me, or that I can see how potential for stories. But I seldom think ahead what I’m going to write

I like your prompts as they can be taken in many ways.

So was I! I thought I might have made it a little bit too obscure!

Haha! I might yet participate. I have a sort of something tower I might be able to work with 😉
