Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it.
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN

At first, I paid no notice to my reflection in the jar’s surface. And then I gave it a second glance. It was me, certainly, but it wasn’t. It was me when I was a younger person, and my smile was tinged with joy, not sadness.
“Am I not a different person?” I said aloud.
“Am I not the same person?” my reflection that was not my reflection(?) said to me.

Excellent. Love this. Similar to my reaction when I realised I’d captured a photo of me, taking the photo. Except I was wearing black, and my image wasn’t. Weird

Are you sure it was you taking the picture? 🙂

Moreover, my daughter’s in the shot too, but it doesn’t look like her either. Sprites and genii, got to be!
