Although we have had a scattering of snow, and temps low enough to produce a crunch, winter doesn’t usually arrive on our coast quite this early. This photo was taken 30 mile inland, last December.

It was very cold. All day. Sat on a bench to eat lunch… and stuck (no, only kidding)

We always carry plastic bags in our backpacks to protect our clothes when we sit to eat. Protect from water, but not from cold!
