Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it.
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN
This unassuming residence on the right was the home of the 9th Baron Exemby, whose trial before the House of Lords on a charge of treason was aborted in 1946 when he fled to the Channel Islands, precipitating a constitutional crisis about the relationship of those islands to the United Kingdom. Despite Exemby’s Nazi sympathies, King George VI intervened, saying that “[I]f Exemby wants to live in a dependency, then so be it, and to the Devil with him!” and banished him to the Falkland Islands. Ironically, the baron would die in 1982 by stepping on an Argentinian land mine, said to have been laid by the son of a Nazi who fled to Argentina after WWII. The 10th Baron Exemby is a clerk at a Tesco in London.
