Every English Country House has a gatehouse; sometimes they come in pairs. But it wasn’t the gatehouse which drew my camera (see below) it was the door.

That gatehouse door is definitely worth a photo!

I don’t know its age, but the original section of the hall is late Tudor/Jacobean. I think the gatehouses were a later build.
