Our walk around the lake at Whitlingham Country Park just happened to coincide with the emergence of damselflies. Loads and loads of damsels, all flitting like streaks of blue light. I did manage to photograph some… and then, of course, there were the water-birds
And don’t forget the butterflies…
And birds…
And I can’t leave this Monday Extra without a closeup of a swan…
Hope you enjoyed. Tomorrow’s Tuesday Treats is devoted to flowery things!

Such electric blues! And what lovely diversity in water fowl.

I wish I could capture the blue flashes of the myriad damsels, so many, but seldom still

I love this! I should go do that too, I usually just focus on the birds. ☺️

It’s the challenge, I think, cos they’re so small, and seldom still.
