I didn’t realize you have magpies in England! Ours have much longer tails than the one in this top photo.

Earlier this spring I discovered a nest at the top of our Scotch pine. Not really a welcome addition to our yard.

It’s the carrion crows I’d rather not have. I know they have to eat, but sparrows for breakfast? Humph!!!
