Sunday Picture Posts: Leaving the Lakes

Lound Lakes, 20th February 2023, Part 2

Last week we left the walk as we skid and rumble down the stony path and onto the road. We pick up the walk from there.

The road runs between two lakes. But the view isn’t good from there. We cross the road and take the trail across the second part of the reserve

Here we find a bridge that crosses the lake. But that way will take us back to the road. We go look, but we do not cross

Hey, close-up pylon, I’m overjoyed!

This, the third woodland of our walk, is of a different nature. Not much by way of flowers or undergrowth

We’re about to join another path. Choice here, right into the village, left to head for the bus

Left also takes us by way of an enchanted pool!

And up another hill which delivers us to Hopton where we stop for lunch

Churchyards are always a good place to stop for lunch… they tend to have bench-seats!

Hope you enjoyed. Don’t miss Tuesday Treat for some seasonal flowers
