A Woodland Visitor

Wood Pigeon: 6th December 2021

The Wood Pigeon more often perches on hedgerow trees and in woodland. Here it’s perching on my fence (photo taken through my window).

On the Fence, another title achieved from the list provided for #2021picoftheweek by Maria Antonia.

    • We have several species of pigeons/doves. This is the largest and most colourful. He (or she) has taken up residence in my garden… with mate. But I expect it’s only for the winter. πŸ™‚
