Fascinating… and quite alluring. I ask myself what kind of writer you are, but it’s right there for me to discover, isn’t it? I promise to read one of your books, but an aspiring reader would like to understand from the author what she would recommend in terms of a starting point?

Well, if you’re willing to go the entire 6 miles, I’d say to start with The Spinner’s Child and work through the 5 bks of The Spinner’s Game. But not to everyone’s taste, set in a world before recorded history. If you want something more contemporary, then it has to be Learning To Fly. And hopefully it’ll whet your appetite for the first series.
