Tuesday Treat: Birds

I’m not a bird photographer. I like subjects that stay still… like flowers and fungi. But… I’ll let you be the judge

We start with a “static”… well, at least it didn’t fly off…

My interest was the clouds… these birds got in the way

So I try again…

The gull has caught a fish… now look down to the bottom, just into shot…

18th Feb 2021

Poor little gull, all hungry…

18th Feb 2021

Enter the turnstones… they eat whatever the waves bring in…

18th Feb 2021

New regulations… only 5 in the pool at any one time (social distancing)

18th Feb 2021

While the others wait their turn…

18th Feb 2021

More attempts to take photos of the sky sabotaged by these ubiquitous gulls!

18th Feb 2021

18th Feb 2021

More turnstones. They’re having a veritable feast today…

18th Feb 2021

18th Feb 2021

18th Feb 2021

Brave birds though. I wouldn’t get so close…

18th Feb 2021

Oh dear… time for us to leave. And here’s one more gull to wish us goodbye!

18th Feb 2021

Hope you’ve enjoyed. Such wind-thrashed days don’t come every day.
