Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN

Yep. And we had plenty of snow the other day to show our readiness … 😉

Mmm, well, that you may keep to yourself. I grew up with deep snow, and frozen roads and loved the tobaggoning but not the cold

OK. (making arrangements to keep all the snow to myself … finding some opposition and a lot of red-tape … will do my best … 😉 ).
Yeah, snow is lovely. The ice-rink of sidewalk crossings and slush-piles and ‘black and yellow’ snow and cold is a little less pretty … But the park!!! Wow. 🙂

I loved snow when I was a rural-dweller. But in town… yea, it compacts to ice, and turns to slush and is disgusting

(Looking out her window on to a city street lined with frozen slushy detritus mush).
Yep.
It is … 😉

As a phototgrapher, I should be looking forward to the snow. And when or if it comes, I shall be heading to Breydon Water, a rural setting

No ‘shoulds’ in weather appreciations or preferences … 😉 You do you! And … I’m sure that when the snow comes, if it comes, you’ll bundle up and trundle out to photograph!

Your contribution swallowed up the idea I had belatedly settled upon, and took it to better places I had not thought to go.

Maybe you can do something witty for this week’s CCC 🙂

Nice photo, not local to you I hope but I’ve tried to do it justice at http://bobfairfield.org even though the elf had none

The photo was taken on my walk 2nd December. It was in a village about 5-6 miles south of me
