Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)

This is not a set-up photo. I was walking along the Cargate Lane in Saxlingham and there was this shoe. Just the one. What is the story behind it? The mind boggles. So I give it to you to imagine.
BTW, I had to tone down the greenery to enable the shoe to stand out.

I feel it may be because I use an iPad as my laptop is Windows 10, therefore no use to man nor beast

I use a laptop with Windows 10. I get on better with that than I do with my phone. But I guess it’s what we get used to. Crap eyesight I have these days, I can hardly see what I’m doing in the phone.

I’d say so. No idea what it was doing there. Other than it looks like it has a splodge of white paint on it. Maybe it fell off the ‘bin’ lorry
