Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.
This looks like a tough one. Hmm, see what I can do 🙂

When I took the photo I thought, wow, that’s really interesting.
I always delay my take on it till Thursday. But I can tell you, I looked and I looked, and only one idea came to me. It’ll be interesting to see what others do with it.

Cracking good prompt this week!

Love the pun. But it seems to be stumping some of the regulars. There are usually at least two or three offerings by now. I have done mine. It posts tomorrow.

It really spoke to me right from the start: https://castorpblog.wordpress.com/2020/03/11/crimsons-creative-challenge-70/

This is pretty weird. It started as a “Ranch Yarn” at Carrot Ranch then traipsed through a few prompts before landing back at the Ranch. Thank you for your participation in these characters’ ramblings.

I like the way you’ve cobbled them together. Though I suppose cobble isn’t the right word. 🙂

Thank you. There’s been a slower than usual uptake on this one. I thought maybe I’d found the one shot that didn’t inspire! So pleased to see that it has. 🙂

You’re welcome. Any shot can inspire. For the rest it comes down to time..

Not necessarily what I intended to write, but evidently what needed to be said. Excellent visuals evoked by this weeks prompt.

I had three different associations (and directions) in response to seeing the prompt … so I took it one way, but I cannot guarantee I won’t have an urge to try another, on another day … 😉

I’ve just read and left comment. And I love the way you have seamlessly married to the two prompts 🙂
