Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.
Sometimes I see dragons everywhere …

Exactly. But then I have to confess I had just been reading a story narrated by a dragon. :)(https://mackenziesdragonsnest.wordpress.com/2020/02/04/a-grey-day-for-a-dragon-tale/)

Ah well… and I did see a member of the reptilian family in that photo.

This takes me to a link to purple monkey’s blog which is a blank template?

Yea, it takes me to my “blogs page”. I’ll see what I can find.

It did it last week too. But I thought maybe the blog was down for maintenance or something.. I don’t know the writer from anywhere else….

It’s ringing a bell. I’ll have a look at it after lunch. Thanks for the alert. Although strange, it didn’t land in my notifications. It’s probably just a typo.

This is strange, when I open the link in the wordpress app I get the same result as you. When I choose go open it with the browser it opens just fine.

But I’m trying to open it on my laptop, via the WP Reader.

That’s even stranger, on the laptop the link works fine for me in WP reader🤔

I managed to reach your post… via the comments on the dashboard on my blog. And yes, I do remember seeing your post. I shake my head. I don’t know what’s gone wrong with it.
Maybe you could put the link in again?

When I click on the link presented with your comment, I go to your blog. When I click on the one you put in Crispina’s comment I go to a page that asks me to write a post, or visit purple monkey’s blog? off to follow the link with the comment and read your post.
Thanks for responding tho so we can connect with you.

This is triply weird, cos apparently I did visit your post when first posted, cos I’ve remarked on your imagination. But now I can’t reach it. So strange.

Yes that’s what I thought. Now I went back to my post and comments were disabled. Blasted. I changed it back now.🙄

Love it, Padre! 🙂 But might we risk turning South Walsham into a pilgrimage centre?

Thanks. I try to vary them… plenty of grist for plenty of mills. And I like what you’ve done with this 🙂

A little late this week, but not because I haven’t been thinking of you….

Thank you, thinking of me. I too think of you. I wonder what you’re gonna turn out for the prompt. And I do love this, the wonky spell. 🙂

I worked on that spell all week trying to make it more task specific, but in the end, had to go with my first mind….
