And this day the sun answered it perfectly. Don’t you just love that pink-blush? And no, the photo isn’t in any way altered; it’s how it came from the camera.

Wonderfully done. Love the hint of pink but mostly love that stark contrast of the bare tree…

Thank you. The pink came as a bonus. I was going for the silhouette of the lightning-struck tree. Mind, I did carefully position myself with intent of capturing sun-flare. As it happens, the clouds muted it. But, pink, bonus. π

I knew what you meant. And I do it often enough. Not enough water, that’s the problem. Muddies the fingers, we being earth-bound creatures, we. π

Oh, is that what it is? I thought it was using our cell phone instead of our computer π

This is a great shot. Don’t you just love it when the picture comes as beautiful as it really was?

I’d say it’s more lovely. The eye isn’t distracted by the farm machinery, and the chap mowing the lawn! π

I thank you. I’ve been sitting on it for a while, while I used photos taken from the previous week. But I thought now is the time to use it π

I took several shots from several angles. All variously worked as silhouettes, but this one, the sun was in just the right place.

I thank you, Andrea. Though the sun did most of the work.

I thank you, I do confess, I was pleased with it. It was a good day’s shoot all round. Loads of butterflies and dragonflies. And a round turning that added miles to our route!

I can only imagine. I won’t say I don’t see nature around and I like photography. It requires patience isn’t it? This one is really one of your best ones.

I wouldn’t describe myself as patient, or more patient than most. Often the best shots are those I see in a moment and the camera obeys me. Fast.

Yeah that’s right. I have seen people just waiting for hours to get a good shot.

I suppose if that shot is really important to you, then you would. I prefer to take what the moment gives me. There is something magical in that.
