CCC112: Mind the Puddles

Crimson’s Creative Challenge 112

Prison. What a great way to end 2020. And why?

“Ms Carpory, you are charged with the irretrievable destruction of twenty cubic meters of the Universe. THIS Universe. OUR Universe.”

But it wasn’t intentional, I didn’t know. No one said not to throw the stone. I mean, it was a puddle…

True, there was a fence around it.

And a dense screen of guards.

“What’s that?” I asked.

“A split in reality,” the youngest guard said.

“Oh yea?” I laughed. And threw the stone.

Happy New Year.

And mind those puddles.

Oh my… mind the puddles, indeed. Then again, maybe we need a rock or two thrown in….

Ms. Carpory should have learned from dealing with the Asars and their offspring not to meddle with strange things!
