Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
If you tag it #CCC others should be able to find it by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.
Details of the photo are given, if relevant, below this line
Two (almost identical) bulls stand guard on the entrance to Blickling Hall, (Nr Aylsham, Norfolk), both hold a shield to display the family’s heraldic devices. The family? The Boleyns. Though the present hall was built by a later incumbent. See my post By Blickling
Oooo i love the bistiry involved in this one….

Just came from there.. Amazing article. So much history in England.. Imagine just taking a bus (and then another bus) and there you are!!

And I can take my feet along an estuary-side path and, 4 miles on, have a picnic within the walls of a Roman fort. Though, it is thought maybe it was a walled stores and/or trading place. And a brief bus-hop takes me to a verified Roman fort. Both remain only as ruins, the nearer fort having the better walls.
Don’t know how you are on Roman history, but these date to ca.200 AD.

well then would you be so kind as to explain it to me? I get we are talking about Queen Elizabeth, but….

Queen Elizabeth (the first) defeated the Spanish (matador) Armanda. Though it wasn’t Queen Lizzy herself, but her navy.

And my poem to the sheep picture was an issue?????
I would take offense, but I’d much rather laugh about it.

Um, yea, um, there’s something about bulls that bring out the close-to-crude in people. And I had no deep issue with your sheep-offering. I believe we both were teasing. 🙂
