Grandpa used to say he’d pulled the letters out of a bag to name his boat.
And we believed him.
Until we were clearing his things from his boat after he died, ready to sell the old berth, and found a letter.
From his wartime sweetheart. Postmarked Wehlau
Sweet story!

It’s kinda based on my father’s experience… except he didn’t have a boat

Thank you. Sorta based on my father, who had a wartime romance with a Polish lady

Thank you. I must admit, I was a little bit stumped. And then it came to me in a flash… as so often it does

Ya done good for last minute! I fear with the new job, new hours… I’m going to be struggling with getting myself going for the next week or so. Until my rhythm is found, that is!

It’s okay, I’ll understand. And I’ve no plans on stopping the challenge. After, we all love a challenge.
I wish you well with the job. Great stuff. 🙂

I shouldn’t think you would!
I’ll just pick and choose for the next while…
Thanks. It’s crazy long hours but only three per week… I should have time to recup in between shifts.
