Sonia heaved her relief at passing through customs without being stopped. Now to get out of the airport and find the car.

It was where they’d agreed. She fumbled for her keys, the spares given to her before the trip.

Door unlocked.

And in.

Now to switch facemasks. She tucked the used mask into the glove compartment – along with the five diamonds sewn between the layers.

  2. I held my breath, wondering what will happen to her once the diamonds were ‘delivered’ … and what ‘reward’ awaited her, all too likely booby trapped … Nice one!

    The smugglers always find a way. You have to be creative. Nice take though someone can use it to smuggle.:)
