Now to switch facemasks. She tucked the used mask into the glove compartment – along with the five diamonds sewn between the layers.

I held my breath, wondering what will happen to her once the diamonds were ‘delivered’ … and what ‘reward’ awaited her, all too likely booby trapped … Nice one!
