Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN
In the words of Otis Redding
Sittin’ on the piping posts.
I’ll be sittin’ till people pass
Then I watch ’em from high above
As they look like busy ants.

The track and trace said it was delivered at 8:58 a.m. on the 27th. Didn’t take very long to get there from Norwich. Only a week from ordering from the store. Amazing!

I’d been saving it. I took the photo last summer.

I was trying to relive my hippie days from the 1960s by tie-dying some t-shirts, and then this pigeon came along.

It’s that bird, Dale! And Crispina’s photo thereof.
Sadly, Cambridge sees primarily pigeons and Canada geese, which are boring. (I suppose Canada geese are actually attractive, aesthetically speaking. But there are just so many of them!) We do get chickadees, the occasional cardinal, and every so often a turkey struts by.

I understand. I was surprised I had one in my photos so I could to my “matchy-matchy” but it was a much more subdued colour-wise than hers.
Canada geese are big poop machines. My goodness. We have a man-made lake across the street from where I work. Friday, As I walked on this stretch of land that juts out, it was covered. Gross. We have cardinals and blue jays and so many crows this year. I’m sure we have chickadees too (at least I think they are as they sound like they sing chicka-dee-dee-dee… 😉
