It was an amazing walk, thoroughly enjoyed, climbing up and down the cliff, threading through the various vegetation. At least that stretch of cliffs remain intact though parts of the beach have gone

Oh lovely. I am housebound (though am in my car, waiting for my youngest gone for blood tests) as you know, so of course, I’m itching more than ever… Plus I work only at noon, which will leave me mornings to get out.

Not piers. These are the remains of previous attempts at sea defences. The coast around here is badly hit by erosion
