It had not been my intention to keep my eyes on the sky. But the sky god gave me such wonderful vistas…
Tuesday 4th August. It was a pleasantly warm day.
The first meadow… not yet on the marshes
Burgh Castle’s grazing marshes. I believe if you squint you might see some horses
This is a progression of the earlier cloud
And that wonderful cloud gives way to cottonwool balls
Looking back over Breydon Water
The confluence of the rivers Yare and Waveney, it’s always windy here. And the famous Berney Arms Windmill
Two of the bastions. The perimeter wall is extant except where it faces the river.
Watching the river traffic while enjoying a coffee. Two miles left to catch the bus home.
I hope you enjoyed these vistas. Next week I shall post the flowers I saw on the way.
Beautiful views, Crispina. Looking forward to seeing the flowers 😊

You know I enjoy the sharing. What point in taking the shots if I’m to hoard them on the laptop?

Wonderful gifts from the sky god, those interesting cloud formations! Nice eye, getting that first shot with the sun “trapped” in the tree.

I always loved the marshlands close to the sea. I hope you don’t have the mosquitoes/flies problems we do.

They tend to stay away from town. And they haven’t carried malaria since 1910!

I do enjoy your posts. Whether it be photos of a stroll, or flowers, or prompts. They soothe the soul. They make me pause from my work. Tonight peace overflowed from them as I haven’t read anything except University emails for a few days. It was good to sigh.

The lot of these are beautiful – I think I’d like to see that place in real life.

It is a beautiful place. Though to me… it’s my backyard, so to speak. Easy to take it for granted. Give me hills and trees and trickling streams, cos they’re different
