Now we’re past the solstice, the nights draw in, the mornings break later, while yet it’s warm (ok, it’s hot!). Encouragement enough for me to go wandering with the camera.

Such a change, having digital cameras, from how it was way back when. I remember getting my photos developed — and paying for all of them — and then chastising myself for taking so many shots of the same things.

My 2 films used in Cheddar caves back in 1998! And then having to wait for development. And the cost… always the cost

About the only times I wake up that early are with insomnia. Though I do fondly remember watching the sun rise the morning after my high school graduation. I must admit, the lighting is different, and, as you’ve just demonstrated, lovely.

Unless I@ve gone across Breydon for a sunset (which I did again last night night) I tend to be early to bed. So… early to bed, early to rise… gives me the opps to photo the sunrise!
