I’ve already posted several of the photos I took back in May when I walked along the river Bure, through Bure Park, and onto the dunes… now I give you my shots of the wildflowers there (those not trodden by too many feet!)
Tiny plant, easily missed. But whose ‘bit’ is it? It’s one I’ve never been absolutely sure on.
Beware with bare feet. Those leaves are prickly.
This trefoil has many regional names. The one I like best is Egg and Bacon.
A total misnomer. As you can see, it’s not a tree, though it can grow to a shrubby 6′. It’s a common sight on the dunes of Norfolk and Suffolk
These are so beautiful! Thank you Crispina! 🙂 ❤

Another group of beautiful wild flowers. Thank you.
I love the yellow and so The Lupin most.
Holly’s such a nice name yet always prickly. Very hardy.

The Sea Holly looks great when it’s glaucous-green with fresh growth and the flowers all starry

A nice selection. I thought the “tre” in trefoil stands for three, and the name means three sections or three petals?

Does yes, three leaves, but some species have 5. This one has 5

Do you seek out these flowers, or is England just like this all the time?

Guess I’ve got a keen eye for them. Or maybe it’s the places I walk. Maybe it’s I see the flower and not the weed. Maybe it’s all three
