Lockdown ‘relaxed’ I ventured further than I had before… but still avoiding public transport
Great Yarmouth forms the nexus for the Broads’ rivers (Waveney, Yare and Bure). This time of year, this stretch of river is usually busy. But not a pleasure cruiser in sight.
Step by Step, another title achieved in Maria’s Antonia’s #2020picoftheweek
How blissfully quiet it must be.
Lovely shot – it draws the eye.

Actually, there were quite a few walkers out. Families, and couples with dogs. Plus this shot was taken close to an old, no-longer-used yacht station and there was a demo crew at work. Friendly chaps. Said hello. 🙂
More photos from that walk tomorrow…. 🙂

I meant the quiet on the water… boats and such are noisy things 😉
And lovely that you are all out and about. It must feel freeing.
Looking forward to them!

I still can’t get out of town. It’ll come. But for a wihle I’m not comfortable being on public transport

I don’t blame you. I am so very glad I don’t have to rely on public transport.

When I do take a bus, to begin with it will only be to the next village along. No 50 minute rides into Norwich then another bus out to reach my favourite walks. And yes, I’m just waiting for the bath to run

Smart. You have to do what you feel comfortable doing.
Lovely!

Aww That’s so not true! You were almost there. Your words made me think of a song about the sands and sea. Can’t think of the title. Hmm

A surprising number of walkers, but no pleasure cruisers. In that, it was indeed peaceful. They always chug past with their radios blarring.

It’s lovely without all the boats – lovely enough that I understand people seeking the ride on an ordinary day!

See Sunday’s photos, Top of the Tide. This is usually cruiser-boat central, being the meeting of the three Broads’ rivers. Now, total tranquility (though that was helped by the state of the tide and lack of wind)
