“Now my dear, don’t you move, don’t you fear, I’ll see off these photographers here.”
“Huh, and I suppose you reckon yourself the only big horn in town?”

Thank you. Their stance, the one looking tense and assertive, the other relaxed and couldn’t care… dictated my take on it 🙂

Hey Crispina, it looks as if you knew what he was thinking!

Sort ot. Body language applies to cattle as much as to humans

I agree. I also wrote something quite similar

Great minds… but sometimes the image dictates it… 🙂

BTW, have you checked out the photos I’ve been tweeting these past three days? Mostly stuff I haven’t posted to WP

Like I told you, I spend very little time on Twitter. However, with each time I exchange with you, I start getting popups of when you do so… I’ll be getting them – for now, I’m gonna go snoop!

From the pop-ups, I’d say you’ve found a few 🙂 I’ll go check in a minute 🙂 🙂

People see these beasties are dangerous. Nah, rather the long horns than the short. 🙂

And never ever as dangerous as people, I’d add. 😋

I had a cousin whose family owned one of those bushy cows. Everyone around the community thought it was so wild – but here you have two fuzzies!

There were five altogether in the field… it was only a small field. I’m guessing it was a small-holding, maybe saleable veg grown on the better soil, cattle raised on the river-valley pastures, and chickens kept somewhere between the two. Oh, and perhaps the main cash crop was mistletoe. Many of the trees hereabout bear it.

The maple in my front yard has it. I think I might cut off a bit next winter.

I grew up in the belief it grows on oak or apple. But over recent years I’ve seen it growing on several different species, yet all within an easy flight of where I took the photo.

Spooky – maybe it’s evolved!

Nah, it’ll grow on just about any tree that has a craggy bark. And where birds perch to poop out the seeds.

That was a sweet conversation indeed. You have amazing imagination to give words to them!😊
