Notable, her wide-bottomed windlass
Plenty of gumption, topped with brass
Hands always occupied, holding a glass
The mayor at the festival named her first class
Come one, come all, no need of a boarding pass

        I became a recluse back in 2006 when I left work with CFS/ME. Although recovered, I’m not working, and I’m still very mcuh the recluse. Except I do enjoy getting out into the countryside to take photos. It’s that that I’m missing. It seems my family are staying safe, so… just got to sit it out. But I wonder how things will be, say next year? Economy bottomed out, our social behaviour changed. Who knows what might emerge from this. Interesting times…

        Good to hear that you’ve recovered. I bet you enjoy being a recluse and I do understand. Getting out into the countryside sounds and taking photos sounds amazing. How things will be, is a question worth thinking about. Surviving this pandemic is a huge thing in itself.Though I doubt if the inherent selfish nature of humans would change, I do hope that this will leave us with a warning

        I look at the aftermath of the C14th Black Death. Huge social changes in UK. I look at the changes in the aftermath of WWI & Spanish flu pandemic. Huge social change. Hmm… Interesting times
