It’s Time, another title achieved in Maria’s Antonia’s #2020picoftheweek
Alas, in shadow and on an overcast day, yet their cheery faces still deliver the message. Spring truly is here.

We do have tulips pushing up in our yard. I’m worried a frost might still get them.

We’ve not much chance of frost now… at least not on the coast. But having said that, today our temperature is negative something C… but because of the wind. Shiversome, that wind gets into everything

Cannot deny that!
Yesterday we hit a high of 16°C but the wind and the rain made going out difficult. When the rain stopped, the sun came out but the wind blew yet another rain cloud overhead. I’d planning going, finish up something the rain came. Finally managed at 4 pm. Today? It’s -7°C but feels like -15…

As I have just remarked to Brian, we too have powerful winds today. The sun shines. It looks great. But I just opened the front door and it nigh tore out of my hands. And the temperature… definitely in the sub-zero range. Spring!

Primrose was always the Harbinger of Spring when I worked in Floral. Their bright colours were like eye candy for us. You’re so lucky to see them in their natural environment.. 🙂

This was taken early Marc… when I was still allowed to travel beyond the shops! So glad I have a store of photos to brighten my days

I noticed the date. Why can’t you wander? If you’re not near other people. People here are still walking and jogging etc.
At least you have your photos 🙂👏👏

My usual walks require a bus journey, and we’re only allowed essential travel. Not that I would want to get on a bus while everyone is potentially infestious; the worst possible enviroment.
So I can go wanders, yes, but my range is restricted (supposed to be 2 kms from home). But, hey, it’s a challenge to find something exciting. Oh, but I shall miss the trees and the woods.

AND I’ve got some reading to do! from Amazon.😊

Keep smiling. I’m not complaining; I have so much to do. And while the wind blows in ice from wherever, I’ve no desire to venture out!

Nature has total disregard for us… we might remember that when all this is done and climate nuts start pointing fingers again

NUTS! To them I dunno. I have to stay positive right now. Things are changing so rapidly. 😌

Yea. I was tempted to post photos of flowers tomorrow, but decided on one more week of Sunday Fungi. Next week… it’ll be flowers, though the photos must came from an earlier year

Great minds think alike! I think it really is time for Spring! 🙂

100% agreed. It seems the winter has been too long with us. And today we have bright sunshine, and were it not for an icy wind, it might be warm.

Such happy flowers! Our springtime flowers are easter lilies, and these have a similar freshness to them.
