FYI, the challenge, set by Maria at ofMariaAntonia (originally just for herself but she now has allowed others to join in) was simple: every Saturday to post a photo to match a Title chosen from a list provided at the start of the year.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it. Huh. The trick is not to use the easier Titles early in the year, but to save a few for later.

While I managed better this year than last year, towards the end of the year I was beginning to sweat on it.

Buahaha! I took it at work end of November. Was fooling around taking a selfie to show someone I could now tie my hair up a bit 😉

I took a trip through most of your photos and the comments attached to the pages. It was a good year, with lots of fun and great memories. I wish Shen had taken a photo of you in the playground. As a child I used to practically live in a park with a playground. It was magical.

As I have said, the Solstice was my New Year. But I shall probably stay up to listen to the ship’s hooters. We’ve 10 ships in port.

I love that summer dragonfly, but I do have a real soft spot for them. Just love the colour of the creature. And the opposites attract with the rose hips and ivy is still one of my favourites. A lovely year of pictures

I think with the gloominess of UL’s weather of late, I was excessively swayed towards colour in my pick of the pics. 🙂

Ah the memories of 2019! Nice post. And yes, I’ve also learned to save some of the “easier” prompts for later in the year. Although, this past year, I didn’t even use a couple that I was saving!

I’ve already got one lined up for this Saturday. It just appeared, there in front of my eyes. I’m so excited, I want to shout about it. But I seal my lips till Saturday. 🙂
